Covid-19 Booking Terms

These are our terms for people staying at the park in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. These terms are updated frequently. Please check back for any recent updates. This update is dated 2nd July 2020.

Please read the information below before contacting us about making a booking. We politely ask that you if you are not able to abide with current Gov.UK rulings whilst on our site and with the items we have listed below then please do not visit us at this time. This is for the safety of our family as well as yours.

  • We will only be accepting bookings by email and will not be taking any over the phone. We will not be able to accept anyone who just turns up.
  • We are not able to accept group bookings of more than 2 units so as to avoid large gatherings on site. If we find that people have booked separately but are actually meeting
  • as a group and not abiding by social distancing rules then you will be asked to vacate the site. No refunds will be given.
  • Please only arrive between 3pm and 8pm – if there is a queue please stay in your vehicle until you are able to park outside of reception and then only one person from your group to enter reception.
  • If no queue and reception is not occupied please ring bell as normal and stand away from the door.
  • We will only be accepting card payments and this will be required on arrival.
  • On your ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE you will be required to complete a Track and Trace form, with details of everyone in your party – no exceptions.
  • Please ensure you have your own pen to use. We are required to keep these forms for 21 days after your departure date, after which time they will be destroyed.
  • Departure times will only be between 9am and 11am. Please stop at reception on your way out to complete your departure details on the COVID-19 Track and Trace form.
  • We will not be operating our late departure option until further notice.
  • For the time being the shop will remain closed and only used as the reception. Only staff and one other person allowed in at any one time.
  • The Campers Kitchen and the Tourist Information Kiosk will also remained closed until further notice.
  • The toilet/ shower block will be open however please help us to help you and use the disinfectant provided after your use and to keep the area as clean as possible. Pease ensure you take all of your belongings with you when you have finished.
  • To allow for special disinfectant to be sprayed in the toilet/shower block these will be closed to all between 6am-7am, 2pm-3pm and 8.30pm –9pm .
  • You are still welcome to use the washing up facilities, maximum of 3 people at any one time, please use dedicated sinks only.
  • The laundry will remain open but one one person in there at a time please. Tokens available from reception between 9am -11am and 3pm-8pm only. Closes as 10pm as normal.
  • Water / Dustbin /Elson points will have hand sanitiser available at each point for you to use.
  • The children’s play equipment will remain open however, children are to be supervised at all times to ensure social distancing is being observed. Please ensure your child does not touch their face whilst playing and ensure they wash their hands before and after playing on any of the equipment. Table tennis is available but only if you bring your own bats and balls. We will not be hiring out any equipment at the current time.
  • You will not be able to invite any visitors onto the site during your stay. There is no exception to this rule. Please do not put us in a difficult position by having to ask people to leave the site.
  • The site will be operating on approximately 65% capacity because tents will only be using every other pitch.
  • You will be expected to pitch your caravan or motorhome in the centre of the pitch, which will be marked for you, so as to ensure equal distancing between units.
  • We have taken the necessary steps to keep staff and visitors as safe as possible. Please abide by the rules so everyone can enjoy the great outdoors once again and don’t forget to use common sense.
