Booking Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to refuse admission with or without prior booking or 
evict undesirables from the caravan site without stipulating a reason.

  • The owners reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any persons who is a member of any party that cause any detriment to the well being or comfort of other guests.

  • Due to the rules of our site licence we are not able to accept people working 
in the area or accept sign written / commercial vehicles on site.

  • All customers to report to reception on arrival before entering the site.

  • All casual visitors to people staying on the site must report to 
reception on arrival, sign in and pay the daily visitor tariff. Anyone 
visiting you on the site are your responsibility and they must adhere to the 
site rules.

  • Coombe Caravan Park will not be held responsible for any damage to 
client’s property by fire, theft, accident or injury etc however incurred 
whilst on the site. Members of your party are responsible for any damage or
injury they cause to third parties or their property.

  • When ground conditions dictate, we will tow caravans, trailer tents, 
motorhomes, cars etc on/off pitches.This is at the caravan owner’s risk so 
you should ensure that your insurance is sufficient to cover this.

  • Only one vehicle allowed per pitch, extra vehicles must be paid for.(excludes motorhomes towing a car).

  • We are a family park and as such do not allow single sex adult groups or 
rowdy behaviour.

  • The person completing the booking form is responsible for the booking and 
must be 18 or over.
  • Touring pitches are available from 1pm on the day of arrival and until 11am on the day of departure or if a late departure is required this can be done by special arrangement/additional cost with the owners only during the quieter months September to March inclusive.

  • Do not drink and drive on the site, as far as the law is concerned our roads are treated as public highways.

  • All of the park staff have full authority to enforce any rules and regulations as necessary.

  • If you see anyone acting suspiciously around the site or if you see someone you know should not be on the site, please inform a member of staff immediately.

  • We like the site be a peaceful environment for all our customers. Please 
do not disturb others by unnecessary noise from cars, TV’s, radios or 
musical instruments etc which should be played at a volume not to be audible
to adjoining caravans, tents and holiday homes. At night please remember 
voices carry a long way and respect others who may be sleeping. No noise 
please between 11pm and 7am.

  • Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children at all times whilst on the site. Children must not be outside after dark without adult supervision. Children under 12 must be accompanied when using washing and toilet facilities, and must not be allowed to play around the facilities. Children are not allowed unsupervised in the Campers Kitchen. This is so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.

  • No open fires, fire pits, chimeneas or the like. BBQ’s are allowed and can be either charcoal or gas. BBQ’s must be elevated off of the grass, bricks are available from reception, or use the two brick built BBQ’s provided near the tent pitches to the front of the camp site.

  • Clothes lines attached to trees or fences are not allowed under any circumstances. They can be dangerous at night and damage our trees. Please use window racks or there are 3 rotary lines to the right of the Campers Kitchen or 2 tumble driers in the laundry room.

  • Electric hook-up is a 10 AMP supply for camping/caravan related appliances only. Household appliances cannot be used.

  • Vehicles should not exceed 5MPH on the site.
  • We allow bicycles which are ridden in a safe considerate manner. Please stick to the roads and do not ride between the caravans/tents or near peoples cars. Parents are responsible for their child’s behaviour and actions and we urge parents and guardians contemplating bringing bikes to the site to impress upon their children the dangers to themselves and others while around the site. We do not allow children’s motorbikes, electric scooters, Segways, or other motorised ride on items this excludes disability scooters.

  • Drones and kites of any size are not permitted to be used anywhere on the site.

  • The site is protected by CCTV and by entering the site you are agreeing to their use.

  • Do not allow your children to climb our trees and do not attach anything to them.

  • Generators of any description are not permitted.

  • The children’s play equipment is for children aged 12 and under and should be supervised by an adult at all times. The play area closes once darkness falls.

  • Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings on site.

  • Any guest found to, or intending to, use or supply illegal substances will be asked to leave the site.

  • There is a children’s play area where the children can play in safety. Please can we ask that all ball games be played on the play area including Swingball and not around any peoples cars or on pitches or on roads.

  • Please respect other peoples privacy on the site and use the roads and paths to gain access to other parts of the site. Please do not take short cuts between touring pitches and holiday homes.

  • Please respect the surrounding countryside, farmers, farmland, livestock and Racecourse property. Do not exercise dogs on Racecourse property.

  • The use or firearms, fireworks or the making of an open fire is not permitted.

  • Customers with satellite dishes please only use discreet dishes and take note that tree coverage in some parts of the site heavily restricts reception. There are no satellite dishes on the holiday homes.

  • All general refuse to be deposited in one of the 19 dustbins points located around the site.We can only accept household rubbish any scrap metal, packaging, broken tents or equipment should be taken home and disposed of in the correct manner when you get home.

  • In the event of a fire call 999. There are 9 fire points around the site for your use should the need arise. Please park in the centre of the pitch so as to maximise the space between units.

  • There are 13 fresh water and 5 waste/grey water points situated around the site. Please read the signs and ensure you are using the right side of the water point. Motorhomes please use the drive in drop off grey water point which is situated adjacent to the red telephone box.

  • We have two chemical disposal points one situated at the top right of the site and one just up from the main entrance. Please keep these as clean and tidy as possible for others to use.

  • Well behaved dogs and other pets are permitted on site if kept under control at all times and on a lead. Please do no leave your dog(s) unsupervised at any time on the site or in caravans/tents/motorhomes or in the charge of young children. Do not allow your dog to annoy your neighbours or foul the site. Please exercise your dog in the adjacent lane but do not enter onto Racecourse property. If your dog is noisy, unsociable or dangerous we reserve the right to ask you to vacate the site with your dog. If you are not prepared to obey these 
rules please do not bring your dog with you.

  • We reserve the right to modify or change the rules at any time without giving prior notice.

  • The toilets, washing and shower facilities, washing up area, Children’s Bathroom and the Campers Kitchen – please keep these areas clean and tidy for others to use. If your find something not right, please report it at reception.
